Honey Chicken Tikka Recipe


Ingredients:
Chicken Breasts - 1 kg
Lime Juice - 1/2 cup
Honey - 1/2 cup
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
White Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Nutmeg Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Food Colour - a pinch
Salt to Taste
Mustard Oil - 2 tbsp

Method:
1. Clean and debone the chicken.
2. Cut into 2 inch strips.
3. Combine all the ingredients (except mustard oil) in a large bowl.
4. Coat the chicken strips evenly and leave to marinate for 3 hours.
5. Skewer the chicken strips 2 cm apart.
6. Grill/bake/roast in a charcoal grill/oven/tandoor for 8 to 10 minutes, basting occasionally with mustard oil.
7. Garnish with onion rings and tomato slices.
8. Serve hot.
