Grilled Chicken Strips Recipe
For the Marinade:
Vinegar - 3 tbsp
Onion - 1, finely chopped
Ginger - 2 tsp, finely chopped
Garlic - 2 tsp, finely chopped
Cumin Powder - 2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Fennel Seeds - 1 tbsp
Black Cardamom - 8, ground
Cinnamon - 1, ground
Cloves - 8, whole
Peppercorns - 20
Red Chillies - 1 tsp, whole, dried
Salt to Taste
Tomato Puree - 1 tbsp
Method:
1. Blend marinade ingredients into a smooth paste.
2. Place chicken strips on a flat dish.
3. Rub marinade on them.
4. Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours.
5. Grill in tandoor for 8 to 10 minutes, basting twice, till lightly browned tray with aluminum foil.
6. Spread the chicken strips on the tray.
7. Grill in two batches.
8. Grill for 10 minutes, turn pieces over, grill for another 10 minutes until chicken is browned in spots.
9. Remove and serve on a warmed serving dish.
